About My Clients
I work with both individuals and couples, and have experience working with those who may be struggling with issues related to sexuality and identity. I strive to create a safe and empathetic environment in which to explore and be curious about your unique experience.
My Background and Approach
I believe that therapy can be a space for introspection and positive change. I work to establish a collaborative, warm, and supportive relationship in order to cultivate insight by exploring how your past impacts current behavior, emotions, and relationships. Cultivating a deeper understanding of yourself can be transformative to both your relationships with yourself and others. My practice is trauma informed and draws from psychodynamic and feminist-relational theories. I have a firm belief in self-determination and empowerment both in and out of the therapy room. My therapeutic style gentle, and direct. You are the expert in your experience, and I view my role as a clinician as one of walking alongside you on this journey rather than leading. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from the Chicago School.
