About My Clients

I thoroughly enjoy working with both teens/adolescents and individual adults. I specialize in walking alongside those who are hoping to explore places of trauma, family of origin narratives, are in the midst of life transitions, identity development, grief, and those with questions of spirituality.

My Background and Approach

I currently hold an LMHCA with a concentration in Trauma and Abuse from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. My therapeutic work stems from a frame of trauma informed, relational therapy with elements of creativity and somatic work. This means that I believe therapy is meant to be a collaborative playground where you and I come together to explore the places where you need care and tenderness. It is my hope to offer a warm and space for you to come and explore all the beautiful facets of what makes you, you. In addition to this, I believe that therapy can and should reawaken you to your inner creative and call you back to the wildness of yourself. I put great value in cultivating a safe space for you to explore the radical and breathtaking things that make you, you.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

It is my sincerest belief that we are meant to do this life alongside one another and that all things are deeply interconnected. When we come together to sacred places and bear witness to one another, it highlights our humanness and the ways in which we need another in order to see ourselves more clearly. I believe it is also true that we all hold inside ourselves the magical ability for healing. Therapy is an opportunity for you to explore the magic that is you with the tender presence of a witness. Relationships are the bedrock of what makes this life so wild, captivating, and free but it is also for most of us, the greatest source of grief, loss, and trauma. All of these places are better explored alongside another, with a caring presence to bear witness to your experience, offer tender support, and help you to come back to your first home: yourself.
