About My Clients
I provide individual psychotherapy services for adults and adolescents. I specialize in working with clients navigating chronic illness, anxiety, depression, life transitions, disability, adolescent issues, and women’s issues.
My Background and Approach
In my practice I draw heavily on my nine years of diverse clinical experience in New York City — from practicing in community and crisis-based mental health settings, to time spent in various hospital systems. These previous roles included providing family therapy and advocating for youth involved in the juvenile justice system, home visits for those experiencing psychiatric crises, and working at an outpatient clinic with adults & children diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). My approach is informed by my time spent advocating for those facing legal and medical issues, and I empower my clients to feel that they have the ability to handle any challenge they may encounter. I utilize a blend of different treatment modalities that are psychodynamic, relational, and trauma-informed, as well as integrate cognitive behavioral techniques and mindfulness practices when appropriate.
