About My Clients
I've worked in the mental health field for over 15 years. I specialize in helping people navigate anxiety, depression and parenting/postpartum. I also enjoy working with people coping with ADHD, trauma, folks who are longing for a stronger sense of self, and can help you develop stronger boundaries and reduce people pleasing behaviors.
My Background and Approach
I work primarily from a psychodynamic and relational lens. Put simply, I’ve learned that our early relationships can have a big impact on how we view and move through the world. And honestly, this information can feel scary or overwhelming to most of us. The good news- our perspective can change. I believe that through therapeutic work, we can find a way to navigate our world that feels better for us. We do this in part by having our unconscious become conscious. I also integrate other therapies depending on the issues you present with or what your goals are. I may incorporate mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), as well as other therapeutic approaches. I always welcome feedback and want to make sure that psychotherapy isn’t a waste of your time, money, and/or resources.
