About My Clients
It is one of the greatest gifts of my life to be able to serve as a guide to others while they navigate the painful and expansive process of knowing themselves more fully. My experience is focused on teens and adults, ages 13 and up. My areas of focus include depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma. I also have training and experience working with the LGBTQ+ population. I offer licensure supervision to fellow therapists pursuing their LCSW.
My Background and Approach
It is my belief that we all deserve the opportunity to create a space to identify and share who we are and how we feel. Through a relational approach, my aim is to meet people where they are and work towards greater clarity and freedom from the pain and fear we have experienced. I believe in the power of relationship, especially the one we have with ourselves, to help us heal, grow, and discover how to be intentional about the kind of life we want to live. I approach the work with compassion and an open heart, inviting all parts of ourselves to be known and understood.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My practice, The Way of Connection LLC, was born out of the deep knowing that developed from my own experience with healing. While navigating that journey, it became clear to me that connection to yourself, others, and the natural world is integral to fully embodying yourself and living a meaningful life. It is my aim to provide a space to remember our sense of connection to ourselves and others, to carve out a small corner of our overwhelming world to feel held and heard. That is the foundation for my practice and the meaning behind the name. I come to you here with compassion, open heartedness, and a willingness to connect with you in the depths of our human emotion.
