My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I strongly believe that every person has the potential to change and grow at any point in their life. Each human being is valuable and has a unique role to play in life. Our differences are what often makes therapy effective; when we feel seen and accepted for who we are, loved at our core, and safe to express ourselves, there's no stopping us. This gives us the strength to work through traumas that we may have been suppressing for years, dare to confront coping mechanisms that no longer serve us, and learn effective coping skills. It allows us to choose relationships that honor and respect us for who we are. People will change and grow only when they are ready.
