About My Clients
Many of my clients are navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, or relationship issues. They may also be dealing with troublesome family dynamics and confronting difficult personality disorders such as borderline and narcissistic traits. They are seeking support and guidance in understanding and managing these complex issues. They are open to exploring their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors in order to create positive change and growth in their lives.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to effectively address symptoms of anxiety and depression. I focus on helping clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and work collaboratively with them to challenge and re-frame negative patterns. In addition, I incorporate psycho-education to provide clients with valuable insights into their difficult interpersonal dynamics. By increasing their awareness of these dynamics, clients can develop a deeper understanding of their relationships and how they contribute to their emotional struggles. In therapy I use a supportive yet direct style, providing a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings while guiding them towards growth/change.
