Accepting Clients

Hi! I'm Sarah and I'm happy you're here. Taking steps to seek therapy may be difficult, but well worth it. I want to help you grow & heal.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Madison, WI

About My Clients

I specialize in trauma (including religious trauma, spiritual abuse, and cult recovery), depression, anxiety, OCD, grief and loss, and existential concerns. I also focus on scrupulosity (aka “Religious OCD”), adjusting to life transitions, moral injury, interfaith relationships, and spiritual exploration. While these are my specialties, I see clients who have all kinds of concerns ranging from work stress to PTSD to interpersonal concerns.

My Background and Approach

My style is personal and laid back, while still incorporating directed questions that challenge you to know yourself deeper. I encourage exploring, questioning, and wrestling with things in session and I’ll always offer a safe space to do this. I utilize a holistic approach to therapy that focuses on the strengths and resiliency of individuals.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I have a deep appreciation of the delicate nature of the human experience and believe every human has dignity and worth. I understand that each person is a beautiful mosaic of their experiences and I am grateful anytime someone gives me the privilege of entering into their story.
