About My Clients
I have over 8 years of experience successfully helping First Responders and their families restore their mental wellbeing. My approach helps people explore their emotions, thoughts, beliefs, and symptoms in a safe therapeutic environment. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, bullying, divorce/separation, adjustment disorders, family conflict, self-esteem, and stress management.
My Background and Approach
I received both my Bachelor’s and Master’s in Social Work from Barry University from 2008-2020. I am a Florida Licensed Clinical Social Worker, License number, SW20625. I own Behind the Badge LLC and specialize in helping treat a variety of adult and childhood mental health conditions. My post-graduate experience included extensive clinical work with children, adolescents, adults, and families struggling with diverse mental health conditions in both outpatient and private practice settings. Furthermore, I received my certification from PEPSI as a clinical trauma professional, CCTP. I am passionate about using my knowledge and experiences to help others succeed in their lives. I utilize evidence-based practices such as cbt, trauma-focused, solution-focused techniques, existential-based practices. I also use creative techniques such as art therapy, narrative therapy, and play therapy to help you reach your fullest and truest potential.
