I like to utilize a cognitive behavioral approach in order to explore how our thoughts are impacting the feelings we are having, as well as the choices we are making. I believe that it is first important to recognize the areas of life we struggle through in order to promote positive changes. I also offer Christian based counseling to those who are interested. I truly want to connect to each client I see, as I believe that connection is one of the most important aspects of the counseling process. I am currently offering a limited number of reduced rate spots on my caseload.

I completely understand how difficult it can be to begin the counseling journey. It is not easy to open up to people, let alone someone you have never met before. Even considering entering the world of counseling is so brave and courageous, and truly demonstrates strength and resiliency. I hope to help clients see all the positive qualities that they hold in an effort to promote genuine self-love. Along with Sharp Wellness, I previously worked as a Crisis Intervention Counselor at a high school, which has given me a wide range of experience in counseling adolescents. When I am away from work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two dogs, as well as being around my family and close friends. I thrive near sunshine and water, and truly love great conversation that has great food to go along with it. I am passionate about working out, true crime podcasts, and reading a good book.
