About My Clients
We all experience rough patches where we are no longer coping well with the challenges life throws at us. If you are struggling to recover from a traumatic event or have concerns about anxiety or depression, I am available to help. I also provide supportive counseling for general mental health needs and adjusting to changes in life.
My Background and Approach
I use a conversational style during therapy and value being approachable and creating a comfortable space. I enjoy incorporating mindfulness skills and helping clients reexamine ways of thinking that can keep us feeling stuck. For trauma-specific therapy, I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Overall, I value using a collaborative and strengths-based approach, and you can expect a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs.
