About My Clients
Dealing with unresolved trauma, struggling with life transitions, trying to manage anger, stress, depression or anxiety on your own can all be overwhelming. And let's not forget trying to find a healthy work/life balance in the midst of COVID. But you don't have to deal with it alone. I enjoy assisting clients with learning stress management and mindfulness techniques, as well as helping them to discover ways to cope and address mental barriers they are facing in life.
My Background and Approach
Using a cognitive behavioral approach by challenging self-defeating thoughts, I assist clients with tapping into their inner strengths in order to process through life transitions, traumatic experiences, grief, managing anxiety and/or depressive symptoms & more. I provide clients the tools and guidance needed to help them design the life they want to live. My specialties include EMDR (trauma), Perinatal Mental Health (prenatal, pregnancy, pregnancy loss, traumatic birth experience, postpartum), grief work, anxiety, depression, stress/anger management and women's issues.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Being a wife, mother of 3 (including a micropreemie) and a career woman, I know firsthand how life can be overwhelming at times. But I also know that with the right therapist and a safe space to process your life concerns, the ability to manage anything that life throws at you can improve.
