About My Clients
I assist individuals dealing with a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, life transitions, loss, and grief. Additionally, I understand the potential of non-ordinary states of consciousness to create great insight and healing, and offer assistance in psychedelic integration.
My Background and Approach
I am a California licensed marriage and family therapist with decades of experience in the healing and helping professions. I earned my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco, I have worked or volunteered in public school, community-based nonprofits, and private settings since 2008. My training and experience include trauma, mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting, play and sandtray, and somatic/embodiment modalities. I am also trained in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). My style is deeply relational, trauma-informed, intuitive and interactive.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a therapist, and human, I embrace the following core beliefs: I believe that you are worthy of kindness, respect, connection, and belonging; I believe that you are a multi-faceted, nuanced human being, and that therapy should address the whole person - the mind, body, heart and spirit; and I believe we all have an invincible sun (Camus) inside us, where reserves of courage, beauty, and healing wisdom reside.
