When I started counseling in 2015 Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) was the therapy of choice and I often use the approach. If I would describe my "default" therapy style, it would be SFBT.
When I think of intervention I think of therapy focused upon creating behavioral change much like strategic therapy. Since 2018 I have received supervision and guidance in this form of therapy, and I enjoy using it to help clients accomplish the change they desire.
Unfortunately loss and grief accompanies living. I have lead a group focused upon grief since 2016 and have learned some practical techniques that you can apply to help you grow.
Generally where there is anxiety there is also depression and vice versa. I have learned several techniques and tricks that you can apply to your daily life that will help you overcome the ill effects that often tag-along with depression.
Of all the problems that I have worked with, anxiety has been the most frequent with depression in a close second. I have learned different techniques that you can apply in dealing with anxiety and the problems that typically accompany it.
