About My Clients
My clients come to me with a variety of pressing issues. Some struggle with social anxiety, while others have relationship issues that they want to process. I have experience with clients navigating post-partum depression, anxiety, PTSD, substance use, marital issues, trying a new medication, work stress, medical issues, obessessive-compulsive disorder, and ADHD/ADD. I have a warm and empathetic style and I tailor my approach to fit the needs of each of my clients.
My Background and Approach
I worked for three years at the Seattle Children's Hospital inpatient psychiatric unit, in which I gained vast knowledge and experience. I continued my education at Pepperdine University, where I earned my Master of Clinical Psychology degree with an emphasis on marriage and family therapy. During the program, I interned at the Clare Matrix Residential Treatment Center. I worked with women struggling with substance use and homelessness. I have been seeing clients since January of 2021 and am currently supervised by Andrea Najemy at the Pacific Marriage and Family Therapy Network in Santa Monica, California.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that we, as a human race, are social creatures and cannot always figure out everything on our own. Sometimes we need a different perspective to help us see ourselves or a situation in a different light. I am committed to being a curious, empathic, and thoughtful therapist for my clients. I strive to be the blank slate that helps them reach their goals and overcome the struggles that they are going through. I am also committed to standing up for peoples' rights, especially those who identify with underprivileged groups. I am committed to staying educated and providing a safe, judgment-free space for my clients.
