Anxiety and self-doubt may be constant, unwelcome companions. Memories that you don't want to recall may be constantly creeping into your thoughts. And all of these things affect your life in ways that aren't working for you. I am here to help you discover what it is you need to move forward and heal.
My Background and Approach
Developing a positive therapeutic relationship based on trust and compassion is my first priority, because I strongly believe it is essential for growth and healing to take place. Once we've established this, we will begin working on your specific goals and desired outcomes of therapy, whether that includes learning strategies to reduce and/or cope with anxiety, improving self-esteem, processing traumatic experiences, or other goals you may have. I specialize in treating trauma, anxiety, low self-esteem, & depression. I offer traditional therapy, which may include a combination of approaches such as CBT and DBT. I also offer sandtray therapy, which is an expressive therapy. In addition, I am a Registered Play Therapist, as I believe play is one of the best ways to help children express themselves and learn new ways of coping or regulation.
