My Background and Approach
I take a systems approach to therapy and utilized an Emotion Focused Therapy methodology. In other words, in therapy we explore the root of your feelings while seeing what factors may be contributing to stress or conflict in your life. Throughout the therapeutic journey, we will work together to discover and understand the deeper meaning of your feelings and experience while developing a plan to move toward growth, healing and positive change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am deeply committed to providing culturally sensitive and inclusive therapy services tailored to meet the unique needs and experiences of my clients. My range of therapeutic services extend to couples and families who may be dealing with high conflict, young adults who are experiencing life transitions, the BIPOC population whose focus is coping with oppression and discrimination, and also expectant or current mothers who feel consumed and lost in motherhood. Therapy can also be the maintenance needed to nourish the balance in one’s life.
