About My Clients

My clients are seeking a deeper connection with their values, friendliness with themselves, and healing so they may be in relationship with their loved ones and the world in ways that they may share their gifts, wisdom, and strength. Many of my clients have experienced trauma or ongoing stress during childhood and adolescence. Many are healing wounds of internalized oppression due to oppression and marginalization around their race, sexuality, gender, neurodivergence, language, or citizenship.

My Background and Approach

Working together, we will take a body-based and mindful approach heal your wounds. We'll listen to movement, posture, physical information, emotion, and beliefs to develop the foundation needed to process those wounds, traumas, or stresses. Identity and power impact our well-being and we will tend to how these have shaped your sense of self and how you relate to the others and the world. Through our work together, I trust that will you increase you capacity to manage stress and shift your relationship to the past, but also befriend yourself. Let's get started! My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a Latine and genderqueer person, I tailor therapy to tune into the wisdom of each person and their culture because that has been important in my own journey. For me therapy, is NOT a one-size-fits-all or training in whiteness, cisness, straightness, or neurotypicalness. I take a neurodiversity-affirming approach with all my clients by getting to know your unique inner system and leaning on the wisdom of your natural way of being. In other words, stimming, fidgeting, daydreaming, spoon-assessing, and protective responses are invited in as guides and expanded. I have a harm-reduction orientation meaning clients explore what they want their relationship to substances to be and develop ways to be kind with themselves and others. We also explore the wisdom underlying the substance use such as its protective qualities. When I'm not working, I enjoy hiking, knitting, meditating, and Kung Fu.
