About My Clients
My ideal clients are gay, Black men with sexuality/relational, spiritual, and/or career development concerns. I have recently embraced persons with transgender experiences in psychotherapy. “Ideal” does NOT mean “exclusive”—much of my best work has been with people who identify as marginalized, under-represented, and or minorities.
My Background and Approach
I am an active Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia (and Missouri) and have been for over two (2) years—I began Missouri licensure in 2017. I am a National Board-Certified Counselor (NCC) and have been since 2014. I am also a Certified Family Therapist (CFT) and have been since 2020. I am currently pursuing my PhD in Clinical Sexology and certification as an AASECT (American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists)-Certified Sex Therapist. Most of my clients’ concerns are relational in nature.
