Whether you are worried when the next panic attack will occur or if you feel consumed by depression, I aim to provide a space that can facilitate symptom relief. I work with a wide range of presenting difficulties. These include depression, anxiety, disordered eating, and trauma. I meet each patient where they are at while promoting an atmosphere of safety, curiosity, and trust.
My Background and Approach
I am a psychoanalytic psychotherapist that specializes in treating adult & adolescent patients at Bortell Psychological in South Pasadena. Clinically, my approach helps patients explore the meaning of their symptoms. This approach facilitates insight & understanding when it comes to the conscious and unconscious recesses of the mind. In doing so, healing can take place. I specialize in areas of personality disorders, anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, body dysmorphia, phobias, sexuality, and gender. I am accepting new patients, who have the option of coming in-person or working remotely through a Telehealth platform.
