My Background and Approach
My path to therapy began with a deep desire to support individuals navigating life's most difficult moments. I specialize in trauma-informed care, having extensive experience working with those facing substance abuse, crisis situations, and the profound emotions surrounding trauma, grief, loss, end-of-life issues, and death. I understand that these experiences can be incredibly isolating and overwhelming. My approach focuses on creating a safe and compassionate space where you feel heard and understood. Together, we can explore the impact these challenges have had on your life and develop strategies for healing and growth. I work with many types of therapy including: ACT, Attachment- based, CBT, Emotionally Focused, Existential, Humanistic, Integrative, Person-Centered, Strength-based, Transpersonal, and Trauma informed. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe there's a divine spark within all living things, a connection to something greater than ourselves. This spark continues on even after physical death, transforming into a different kind of energy. Grief is a natural and necessary part of the healing process after loss. It's a bridge we must cross to reach acceptance and a new normal. By honoring our grief, we can maintain a connection with those who have died and keep their memory alive.
