About My Clients

Are you someone who is seeking guidance in navigating the complexities of your relationships, emotions, and life circumstances? You may be facing challenges with communication, unresolved conflict, or a sense of disconnect within your family unit. Your goals are to heal emotional wounds, foster healthier relationships, and cultivate a sense of harmony and understanding within your family. I look forward to connecting with you!

My Background and Approach

As a clinician with a background in psychology and marriage and family therapy, I bring a wealth of experience working with diverse populations. I have provided therapy for people with eating disorders and substance abuse issues at various treatment centers and worked as a school therapist in an elementary school. My client-centered approach focuses on collaboration and creating a safe space where my clients can explore their thoughts and emotions without judgement. I utilize various therapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, ACT, and family systems therapy, and I am also a trained EMDR therapist. Whether it's depression, anxiety, or struggles with body image or self-worth, I am committed to helping my clients achieve transformative, long-lasting change through tailored, compassionate care.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that every individual has the right to lead a fulfilling and meaningful life, and that therapy can help to facilitate growth and change towards reaching that goal. I am committed to creating a compassionate and non-judgmental environment where individuals feel safe exploring their challenges and emotions. I also believe in treating every person with dignity and respect, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, or socioeconomic status. As a therapist, it's my responsibility to be culturally informed and aware of how these different identities and social contexts may impact an individual's mental health and life experiences. Another personal belief I hold is that self-care is essential to well-being, and everyone has unique self-care needs that help to support them on their journey. I encourage my clients to explore what self-care practices work for them, as they have a profound effect on our physical and emotional health.
