About My Clients
I collaborate with clients who are learning to express themselves honestly, while navigating through relational concerns. Clients report of feeling withdrawn or overly focus with their partner(s). When we work together, clients can learn new skills and tools in order to advocate for their personal needs in their relationship(s) and collaborate with their partner(s) on creating the relationship that they want together.
My Background and Approach
I studied Systems Theories in my master’s program at Antioch University, where I’m now earning my PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy. Systems theory and experiential practices are the primary lens that I bring to all of my sessions. This lens helps clients to see the system or relationship that they might be in, and gives them the space to try something new. Through experiential practices, I will give clients tools and skills in session and inquire about practicing them together. When clients are given the safe and accepting space to try something new, this builds competency in the new communication skill or emotional honesty expression, that now, when they can leave session, they can try these new skills in their relationship(s).
