I have worked with many clients through major career transitions. Together we can create a tangible plan towards a career more aligned with you that feels emotionally manageable.

I was trained extensively in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy at Brooklyn College. I was later trained in (REBT) Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (the sibling of CBT) at the Albert Ellis Institute. CBT and REBT are logic based treatments to reframe thinking and implement behavioral changes through exposure. I profoundly believe in the efficacy of these treatments in practice and utilize CBT and REBT interventions and techniques with every client.

Acceptance and Commitment therapy is about feeling your feelings in a " theproblem is the solution and the solution is the problem" sort of way. Many clients dislike learning that the only way out is through, but the efficacy of ACT in therapy is irrefutable. Together we will work in session to expand upon your feelings. Outside of session I will prescribe homework to do "feelings" work.

Attachment theory is critically relevant in all therapeutic work relating to the self and others. Attachment theory IS how we relate to ourself and others. Understanding your patterns of responding is crucial in improving issues within dating and relationships. Attachment theory interventions will focus on deactivating and activating strategies to help you become more emotionally, relationally, secure.
