Accepting Clients

I believe in the healing power of exploring how early attachment, childhood, and socioeconomic factors shape identity and life trajectory.

About My Clients

As multi-dimensional beings, it can be challenging to find spaces where all aspects of our identities are fully seen, understood, and embraced. In our search for belonging, we may disconnect from parts of ourselves, leading to feelings of isolation or discontent. My aim is to co-create a space where individuals can reconnect with every layer of their being, including those parts that may feel “too much” for the world around them, fostering acceptance and wholeness.

My Background and Approach

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York City with a BA in Psychology and Criminal Justice from the University of Michigan and an MSW from NYU. I specialize in Trauma Studies through the Institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy and am a certified Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher through the School of Yoga Institute. I believe each client brings a unique combination of life experiences, and I tailor my approach to meet their specific needs. I use a flexible, trauma-informed framework, integrating various therapeutic modalities that promote mind-body awareness, growth and healing. Throughout my career, I have worked with diverse populations, focusing on empowering vulnerable, marginalized groups and addressing injustice. I am committed to exploring how early attachment, childhood experiences, and socioeconomic factors shape identity, influence self-development, and impact life trajectories

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Research reveals that our brains are hardwired to react to automatic survival impulses rather than engage in conscious decision-making, suggesting that behavior results from learned patterns of survival. In my work with clients, I use this framework to explore and identify behaviors that once protected us but may now feel limiting or debilitating. Rather than imposing a rigid approach, I emphasize the importance of being in the here and now. By integrating yogic philosophy and somatic practices, we cultivate mind-body awareness and reconnect individuals with their body’s innate healing power. This approach promotes nervous system regulation, empowering clients to reclaim ownership of their bodies and experience profound liberation. Through this process, clients embark on a journey of healing and growth, transforming both their emotional and physical well-being. This holistic practice nurtures empowerment, fostering lasting transformation, balance, and a renewed sense of self.
