About My Clients
We utilize an integrative approach, combining cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based techniques, and trauma Therapy. Our clients are typically working through trauma or transitional life periods. My practice operates from a lens that explores multicultural issues and how our upbringing creates and shapes the people we are today.
My Background and Approach
Being human can be as amazing and wonderful as it can be challenging and confusing. Through our approach, we focus on a blend of support and encouragement mixed with challenging self-doubt and pushing clients to focus on harder issues. My clinicians are trained in couples work, EMDR therapy, CPT trauma therapy and mood disorders.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a first-generation woman of color who was born and raised in the Bronx. I have firsthand experience with mental health stigmatization in our communities. My practice operates from a lens that explores multicultural issues and how our upbringing creates and shapes the people we are today. I hope to draw people into therapy who have previously been excluded from such spaces. This includes BIPOC, AAPI, and the LGBTQ+ community.
