I'm trained in structural/strategic family therapy, Internal Family Systems, DBT, and use the mix of skills/strategies that work best for you. I use Emotion Focused Therapy and Gottman with couples. Coming up later in 2024, I'm training in EMDR!
Dealing with anxiety can be exhausting- I blend talk therapy with teaching you strategies and skills that will help you manage and feel better.

Family systems training and perspective is a core part of my training as an MFT- in graduate school, I completed 60+ credits, primarily focused on family/couples therapy.
I have been trained and practicing DBT for 20+ years- recently worked on making it official with my certification!
I have been a therapist for 20 years and during that time, have seen many clients who have various levels of depression, mood instability, and/or emotional dysregulation. I approach this with a mix of education, strategies/skills, and exploring your personal history, beliefs, and parts.
My training is in family systems theory, so I come from a perspective of us all functioning with many systems, our family of origin/people with whom we grew up, school, work, community, etc. I approach relationships with a blend of IFS/DBT/EFT/Gottman- whether you're coming to therapy as an individual or couple, I can support you!

I have worked with. many clients, of all ages, with chronic and acute, passive and active, suicidal thoughts. I am comfortable with doing risk assessments, safety plans, and am not a therapist who jumps to sending clients to the hospital unless absolutely necessary for safety.
I have years of experience in working with clients with Borderline Personality traits-I use DBT but also other modalties as well since not everyone connects or likes DBT!
