I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist, who uses EMDR to help people who have experienced trauma by using the well researched and fast acting EMDR tools including bi-lateral stimulation, resourcing, and internal cognitions around old internal messages and what you would like to believe about yourself. By using these tools, you'll get to the root of the problem, process the trauma, and find healthy ways to move forward, towards the best version of yourself, now.

I understand the many pressures that impact people in our world today and lead to a plethora of anxieties. Whether you identify as female, a part of the Pride Community, a marginalized community, or just a human in this world, you may be expected to perform despite near constant challenges from our society. I will help you learn new skills to cope with your anxiety, as well as discover the unique strengths you already no doubt bring with you.

I bring a focus on modern feminism including the many different cultural experiences of being a women in our world. I use a compassionate, racial, and historical lens while working with women to help each individual client to find their unique focus, power, and happiness.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or CBT is wonderful in helping individuals work through their thoughts. It helps us understand how our thoughts lead into our emotions and actions. It is one of the most well researched therapeutic approaches and highly effective for treating Anxiety and Depression.

Somatic Therapy is wonderful in helping us take a holistic approach to understanding how trauma lives in the body, and by healing the physical body, we can heal our traumas. This is an excellent way to work through trauma without having to relive it by sharing the past. In this model, you can focus on the here and now, and what is happening in your physical state rather than painfully recounting your past over and over again.

EMDR Therapy is extremely fast and effective at processing past memories that haunt us today, and restoring them into a healthy part of our brain. By processing old memories, we can live fully in the present and let go of the past. EMDR is well researched, and proven to be highly effective in quickly treating and managing PTSD.
