About My Clients
If you are struggling with anxiety, overwhelm, confusion, feelings of despair, or a sense of being misunderstood, you are not alone. Many of my clients feel disconnected from themselves, experiencing hopelessness, numbness, or a sense of unreality. Others may face hypervigilance, mistrust, shame, worthlessness, or a loss of hope for the future. My work is focused on helping you navigate these complex emotions, understand your experiences, and build resilience toward healing and self-compassion.
My Background and Approach
I practice holistic and somatic psychotherapy, integrating traditional approaches that focus on thoughts and feelings with the body and nervous system. My approach is grounded in interpersonal neurobiology, attachment theory, and parts work. My extensive training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy equips me to help individuals heal from developmental trauma and PTSD while developing inner resources for emotional well-being and self-regulation. I pursue this work because research and clinical experience show that trauma, particularly early childhood trauma, often underlies many of life's challenges—such as relational issues, depression, anxiety, addiction, and both mental and physical health struggles. I am deeply committed to helping you navigate difficult emotions and life’s challenges with compassion, curiosity, and attentiveness, focusing on what you can control.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I view each of my clients as unique individuals with their own distinct strengths and challenges. My role as a therapist is to recognize and honor these differences, tailoring treatment to meet their specific needs, goals, and strengths. I believe that therapy should be a space free from political influence, and I would never impose my own ideological or political beliefs on my clients. My focus is on supporting my clients in achieving their personal goals and aspirations in the way that feels most authentic and right for them.
