About My Clients
At Perfectly Queer Counseling, you’ll find LGBTQ+ identifying therapists who understand - even if you feel that no one could possibly know what you’re going through. You are in the driver’s seat of your life and we are here to help you navigate the twists and turns you may face along the way. Your queer journey is beautiful and also may be challenging for you, your loved ones, or others in your life. We want to support you on your journey.
My Background and Approach
I’m a queer-identifying therapist and supervisor committed to helping adults and adolescents on their mental health journey using compassion, humility, and humor. My work focuses on trauma-informed, sex-positive, and intersectional identity development. I believe in working collaboratively with clients to help them reach their goals. I’m also passionate about creating a safe, inclusive space for the LGBTQ+ therapist community. I aim to prioritize the sharing of professional knowledge with queer students and associate-level therapists through internship opportunities and supervision. I use she/they pronouns for myself. I default to they/them for everyone else, unless told otherwise.
