About My Clients
Do you identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) and/or LGBTQ+? As an LGBTQ+ and BIPOC therapist, I know exactly how it feels to experience isolation and discrimination for just simply existing. My personal journey to supporting individuals in learning how to live and accept their most authentic selves started with my own lived experience. I enjoy working with children, teens, and adults who may be leery about seeking help, or have had bad experiences with therapy in their past.
My Background and Approach
Having graduated with my Master of Social Work degree from University of Washington in 2020, I’ve gone on to earn credentials as a Professional Counselor. I have worked in various community mental health settings for more than a decade, exposing me to a multitude of therapeutic mental health diagnoses. This has provided me with opportunities for training in best-practice evidence-based treatment interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Dialectical behavior therapy and Solution focused Therapy. I am committed to creating a safe and inclusive space in which you are able to be genuine and authentic without holding back. My approach to therapy is collaborative and empowering. This means I will respect your autonomy while working with you to help you identify and achieve your desired goals.
