About My Clients

Do you have a child or teen with ADHD, anxiety, depression, anger issues, or is on the Autism Spectrum. Are you a parent struggling with your child's difficult behavior? Are you feeling overwhelmed by life's challenges? Are you struggling in your marriage? I look forward to joining you on a journey to a more fulfilling and happy life. Together we will explore healthy coping skills, conflict management skills, effective parenting strategies, and many more tools to get you where you want to be.

My Background and Approach

I earned by my Bachelors in Psychology with a minor in Family and Child Development from Texas State University and my Masters in Counseling from the University of Houston. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and I have 6 years experience in the mental health field and in multiple group practice settings. I utilize a variety of theoretical orientations such as CBT, solution-focused therapy, play therapy, Gottman Method Couples Counseling, as well as Prepare/Enrich. I have experience working with children, teens, and adults struggling with anxiety, low-self esteem, depression, ADHD, anger/irritability, and Autism. When I am not in session, I enjoy taking my dog on walks, exploring new coffee shops, and spending time with family. I also enjoy going to the gym because I believe that exercise is a great tool that aids in the reduction of stress and anxiety. Self-care is extremely important to me and I advocate for all of my clients to take some time for themselves every day.
