My Background and Approach
I'm committed to tailoring an individual approach that fits each client’s needs. I am a strengths based, trauma informed clinician with a collaborative approach to therapy. I draw from CBT, DBT, and ACT, as well as play therapy and animal assisted interventions. I also have years of experience working with schools and special education. I will work with you to understand how difficult emotions show up in our bodies, and support you in moving through overwhelming feelings, instead of trying to escape or deny them. They are a part of being human, and while it's not always comfortable or easy, we can learn how to cope with them.
