About My Clients
Are you feeling over stressed and buried under day to day difficulties? I am here to help you feel comfortable and welcomed to begin therapy. Stress causes many problems with our health, work, and even impacts important relationships. Learning new ways to reduce stress helps us handle and overcome our challenges. We are meant to work together to face life's obstacles, no one is meant to handle it all alone. I’m here to help with what you’re experiencing in a non-judgmental and supportive way.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe each human is a unique, one of kind, individual who seeks to live life the best they can. I became a professional counselor to be able to share knowledge about how us humans can find greater joy and internal peace while we work through difficult life challenges. I practice counseling in a holistic manner addressing mind, body, and spirit to support health and healing. I use evidence-based treatment practices, along with complementary and alternative methods, to help each client improve their ability to handle life’s challenges and grow stronger while doing so. I have considerable experience working with military veterans and their families. Being a retired veteran myself, I have a comprehensive understanding of the challenges that many veteran families face. I also believe in physical fitness through exercise as a way to increase mental health resiliency. I practice the martial arts of Tai Chi Chuan and Shaolin Kung Fu and hold 3rd Degree Black Belts in both disciplines.
