About My Clients
Whether you're seeking relief from anxiety, depression, past trauma, or a current difficulty, I look forward to co-creating a space for you to think and express your authentic self. Mainly, I work with adults & teens on issues related to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, OCD, and ADHD. I also work with folks through life changes, including relationships, school/work stress, gender exploration, aging & grief. I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist serving all clients with humility and respect.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is to provide you a space for you to be your most authentic self. I believe from this grounded place, a clarity emerges for understanding yourself better. We will work to identify areas for change and honor areas identified for self-acceptance. I mainly use a psychodynamic approach that prioritizes relationships to facilitate healthier relationships with yourself and others. The approach also helps with engaging emotional and behavioral patterns like excessive shame, negativity, people-pleasing or other patterns that may no longer be serving you. I am also attuned to the mind-body connection for clients that wish to explore mindfulness and other techniques to reduce the stresses of everyday living.
