About My Clients
Whether you’ve tried therapy in the past or this is your first time, I will create a safe space for you to explore even the most challenging feelings without fear of judgment or shame. I have experience working with clients of various backgrounds who are dealing with issues such as grief, loss and anger, substance abuse, trauma (sexual, physical & emotional abuse), abandonment/ attachment issues, anxiety, depression, and family conflicts.
My Background and Approach
I use evidence-based approaches which include keen understanding of multi-cultural differences— I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to organize and track thoughts, feelings, and behaviors so we can better understand their interconnectedness and increase healthy behaviors. Many of my patients have benefited from EMDR and other trauma-informed modalities that I regularly offer. Remember, no concern is too big or small. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, addiction, and low self-esteem.
