About My Clients
My work experience has allowed me to serve a spectrum of different populations including but not limit to children and adolescent, high conflict court cases, individuals with disabilities, individuals experiencing substance abuse, individuals experiencing homelessness, college students, working parents, immigrants, non-binary individuals, and the LGBTQIA+ community.
My Background and Approach
I believe connection is heart and soul of therapy. It’s what allow us to be our true authentic self and to feel visible. Thus, my therapeutic approach comes from a non-judgmental, respectful, empathetic, and joyful manner. I believe that being your true authentic self is one step of the healing process. My therapeutic approach typically integrates person centered, internal family systems and mindfulness. I also incorporate my client's feedback, needs, and goals into therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Inclusivity is a value I implement into my therapeutic practice. Most of my work comes from an anti-racist, trauma informed and culturally exclusive framework. I believe in creating a space for “misfits” and reassuring the amount of life and uniqueness an individual can bring into the world. I enjoy working with diverse populations. I am LGBTQIA+ and poly affirming, sex positive, and kink positive. I am part of the Latinx community and provide services in Spanish. When I first began my career, it was crucial for me to making sure also served my community.
