About My Clients

I have met with a wide array of clients from different backgrounds and age groups. The ideal client is motivated to change and make progress.

My Background and Approach

I hold a Master’s Degree from Antioch University – Los Angeles in Clinical Psychology. My expertise in mental health care includes over seven years of clinical counseling in non-profit and private practice settings - and loads of life experience. My counseling style is eclectic, relational, and empathic; and I will be very curious to hear your unique narrative and conversation style. One benefit of talk therapy is that the counselor is there to actively listen and engage with you. When life throws you a curve-ball with hardship and losses, that time of struggle is typically the time to start therapy. Yet, another reason to embark on therapy will not be a crisis, but a general sense of discontent. Maybe you have felt for a while stuck in a rut, even though you may have a network of social supports. By engaging in therapy, you may discover within yourself new ways to feel fulfilled and meet life's challenges.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe in this difficult world we live in right now with pandemics, politics, plastic and pollution, we have become as a whole more intolerant of one another. In therapy I invite the client to say whatever is on their mind.
