My Background and Approach
As a therapist license for over a decade, I bring extensive experience to my practice I specialize in CBT, D and Solution Focused Brief Therapy , tailoring evidence-based approaches to meet your unique needs. In our sessions, you'll learn to identify and change negative thought patterns through CBT, regulate emotions, enhance motivation and focus on solutions. My goal is to provide you with a toolkit of strategies to manage anxiety, depression, stress, and relationship challenges. I create a warm, supportive environment where you can heal, embrace self-care, and build resilience. My direct and solution-focused approach ensures we address your current concerns while preparing you for future goals. Together, we work collaboratively to promote your well-being, helping you thrive and achieve a healthier fulfilling lifestyle.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am dedicated to promoting self-care and mental health within the Black community, especially for women and other health care professionals. As a practice, I help integrate culturally responsive approaches into everything we do because I recognizing how race, gender, and identity impact access to support. By creating accessible care, equity and justice in all aspects of work shifts the health care disparity, one session at a time. Beyond therapy, I volunteer with organizations focused on mental health awareness and suicide prevention in the Black community. I am also proud to be an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, a sisterhood committed to service and advocacy. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where Black women can heal, grow, and thrive.
