About My Clients
Do you feel like no matter how hard you try, you’re still stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of what’s next? Maybe you’re struggling with emotional pain, persistent anxiety, or trauma. I understand how tough it can be when change feels out of reach. Together, we’ll uncover what’s holding you back and use practical tools to manage stress, heal from trauma, and move forward. You don’t have to navigate this alone—let’s work together to help you reclaim your life and feel more in control.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and mindfulness to help individuals heal from trauma, anxiety, and emotional struggles. ACT encourages embracing difficult emotions rather than resisting them, while committing to actions that reflect personal values. This builds psychological flexibility, allowing clients to move forward even when facing distress. Prolonged Exposure (PE) helps clients gradually confront traumatic memories and avoided situations, reducing their power and reclaiming control. Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) addresses trauma by helping clients reframe negative beliefs and thought patterns that can keep them stuck. Mindfulness practices support staying present and managing overwhelming emotions. This blend of approaches provides a strong framework to process trauma, shift relationships with painful emotions, and create meaningful, lasting change aligned with personal values.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe true growth begins when we confront the fears and challenges we've been avoiding or are too scared to address. In these moments of vulnerability, we find the strength to transform our lives. Everyone has the potential to change and grow, regardless of their past or current circumstances. When we embrace the chance to evolve and change, we live a life that aligns more with our true selves. Many mental health struggles stem from unhealthy learned behaviors and patterns we’ve adopted over time, often as ways to cope with painful emotions or trauma. However, just as these behaviors were learned, they can be unlearned and replaced with healthier ones. This journey requires patience, self-compassion, and a willingness to face ourselves honestly. With support, guidance, and tools, I believe everyone can break free from limiting patterns, heal from past wounds, and create a life that reflects their values and aspirations. Don't hesitate to reach out if we may be a good fit.
