About My Clients
My work includes helping individuals who may be having a difficult time managing life's challenges as well as dealing with depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder or other mental illnesses. My Background and Approach
As a psychiatric nurse practitioner I have over 15 years of healthcare experience. I am trained in providing therapy, conducting psychiatric evaluations and medication management. My approach will allow clients to feel supported, heard and understood. The environment is free of judgment and forced solutions as we collaborate to explore life's challenges along with the themes that have impacted you throughout your life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It's my firm belief that mental health treatment should be individualized, reflecting all of who you are, including your cultural, ethnic and gender identity. I believe that clients have the ability to improve their circumstances and their lives. Therapy and medication are tools to help them discover their innate abilities. I utilize psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy and interpersonal therapy to assist adults who are having difficulty with depression, anxiety, interpersonal relationships and various life's challenges.
