About My Clients
I work with children, adolescents, adults and families who are struggling with attachment and relationship issues, complex developmental trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and/or the unique needs of individuals with autism. I have also specialized in working with adoptive families and understand the complexity of adoption-specific issues that individuals and families can face.
My Background and Approach
I approach therapy from an integrative, holistic and strengths-based perspective. The best healing occurs in the presence of mutual respect, emotional safety and acceptance, and the best growth happens when we are challenged in a way that helps motivate us to create change for ourselves. I take a comprehensive approach that integrates focus on healthy lifestyle behaviors, physical health, and mental health as well as the development of healthy trusting relationships and a support network that you can rely on even when therapy has finished. I utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions in an individually tailored way to best meet your specific needs. I will work with you to create a clear plan for goals we will address in therapy and the strategies that will help you achieve those goals.
