About My Clients
Have you always felt different from everyone else, or even proudly identified as a "weirdo?" Are you burnt out and exhausted? Have therapy and medications been ineffective for you in the past? Is the search for a therapist that truly -gets- you more overwhelming than you could have ever imagined? You're in the right place. My clients are often on journeys to learn more about themselves, on a quest to feel better and enhance their quality of life.
My Background and Approach
What I've learned from doing therapy with clients over the last decade is that connecting with clients on a deeper level matters most. Nothing makes me happier than being immersed in a client's world. I want to know everything about what you love and care about. Your passions have a place in therapy sessions. Once we get to know each other, and probably have a few inside jokes already established, then we will start to work on whatever it is you'd like to work on. Did you just find out you're autistic and want to figure out what the heck that means for the future? Let's do it. Are you an auDHDer who keeps people pleasing and burning yourself out? We'll work on strategizing ways to hack your life so you can keep your batteries charged longer. Do you need a place to unpack some of the shitty things that have been going on in this world? I'm here. I'll meet you where you're at and tailor my approach to you, whether you need structure and accountability or someone to listen and support you
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a queer neurodivergent woman, I'm passionate about providing care that is affirming and tailored to your needs and neurotype. I also strive to provide access to marginalized communities seeking assessment/identification services, specifically for autism and ADHD.
