Client's I work with are wanting and needing a safe and compassionate space to learn about themselves, and uncover their shadows spaces and dark places. You are feeling a multitude of emotions, including fear, hope, sadness, confusion, shame, numbness and courage, and want things in your life to change. I join with you on exploring experiences and building skills that enhance life.
My Background and Approach
I offer heart-centered counseling to individuals & couples, using mindful, experiential, relational & somatic-based techniques. In sessions, I invite you to discover your authentic self by curiously exploring all aspects of your personhood, helping you to pay attention to yourself from a place of non-judgmental observation. Providing a supportive & safe container, I will hold space for your deepest wisdoms to unfold; an insightful process that allows for increased awareness, presence & inspiration that is life-changing! After spending ten years as a stay at home mom raising my three children, I earned a BS in Nursing from the UW in Seattle & became Certified as an Ayurvedic Consultant. Graduating from Walden University with a MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I finished a year-long internship with the M.E.T.A Counseling Clinic in Portland, completed the Hakomi Mindful Somatic Professional Skills Module, the Re-Creation of the Self Module, & the Attachment Psychotherapy Module.
