About My Clients
I work with those who have co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns, those who are experiencing grief and bereavement, as well as those who are navigating chronic health conditions.
My Background and Approach
For the past 10 years, I have focused my practice on helping individuals come to an understanding of their substance use and mental health. Through this time working with others, I have developed an understanding and compassions towards grief and bereavement as it shows up in loss of loved ones, disenfranchised losses including job loss, loss of time with family and loss of health. Recently, I have begun to work with those with chronic health conditions or navigating a loved one's change in health.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in taking the time to get to know each individual I meet whether through my practice or in my personal life. I understand we each are developing and learning as walk through life. I have compassion and support for the LGBTQ community, the Black Lives Matter movement as well as the Me Too movement. In my professional life, I have a special interest in suicide prevention, grief and bereavement and opiate/stimulant addiction and support.
