About My Clients

I enjoy working with adults, college students, and teens who are navigating life's complexities. My interest areas include anxiety, depression, life transitions, eating disorders, managing stress and so much more! I'm particularly attuned to the unique challenges faced by young adults in academic environments. I believe in a compassionate, strengths-based approach, and I'm eager to connect with clients who seek understanding, empathy, and tailored strategies for personal growth and resilience.

My Background and Approach

My background includes psychology, social work, crisis management, motivational interviewing, and substance use assessment. What sets my approach apart is a deep commitment to a compassionate and strengths-based framework. I believe in creating a therapeutic alliance where clients feel genuinely seen, heard and understood. Our sessions are a collaborative journey, where we explore what strategies resonate best with your specific needs. My current approach is integrative, blending elements of my theoretical knowledge in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Positive Psychology, all through a lens of mindfulness and self-compassion. I blend empathy with practical skills to address mental health concerns, empower resilience, and support personal growth. You can expect an empathetic ear, a respectful and non-judgmental space, and a commitment to walking alongside you as you harness your strengths. I look forward to working with you!
