About My Clients
Do you feel like you have fears that control you? Do you wonder why you react strangely to your fears? Or perhaps you've experienced a traumatic event and you feel as though it haunts you, that you cannot move on with life. Alternatively you may be looking to get some help with basic day to day issues that solutions focused coaching can help with. my desire is to help people address fears, compulsions, and/or a history of trauma. My goal is to help my clients grow.
My Background and Approach
I offer evidence-based treatment modalities for trauma and OCD: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), respectively. I also offer solutions focused life coaching. All of these methods are not traditional talk therapy, however, I do interweave that into my sessions, too!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Florescence Counseling LLC, the name of my practice, means to flower, bloom, grow. My goal is to help accomplish this by offering an accepting, welcoming, but also joyful environment. I believe while we cry, we must laugh, too! I am an LGBTQIA+, body, kink, and polyamorous positive individual. My goal is always to provide an environment that feels safe and fosters the ability to grow and flourish!
