About My Clients
I'm passionate about healing the whole person, cultivating healthy decision-making, building coping skills, and striving to develop emotionally safe spaces of non-judgment for individuals to be seen and heard. I enjoy working with all people and specialize in trauma (complex, racial, and developmental), grief, transitions, identity, conflict, emotional hurt, disordered eating, substance use, family dysfunction, and interpersonal relationships.
My Background and Approach
I have experience and leadership in acute residential, intensive outpatient, higher education, partial hospitalization, and sober living homes. I practice from an integrative approach focusing on the goals of the individual and in the past have utilized CBT, Motivational Interviewing, ACT, Mindfulness, and am trained in C-DBT and EMDR. I understand the discomfort that a person can experience being asked to be vulnerable with a complete stranger and therefore seek to create and protect a space where you can grow and walk in your full potential.
