About My Clients
My passion is working with individuals, couples, and families struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, body image, low self-esteem, and more. I have experience working with the Queer community, BIPOC individuals, multiple relationship dynamics, Black women’s experiences, and different belief systems.
My Background and Approach
I received my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I like to approach the therapeutic process using different therapeutic modalities. The modalities that I utilize to support my clients consist of, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, trauma-informed, and systemic lens. One of the most important aspects of my therapy process is building rapport, providing feedback, and collaborating together to aid in your journey to becoming your best ideal self. I bring a calming, empathic, and confident energy into the room that can help you slow down your thoughts to understand yourself and what is keeping you from succeeding in the ways you desire. We will co-create a treatment plan that lays out a path for you. I will be by your side supporting you, giving my expertise, and challenging you in ways that will help you grow.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My personal belief is that therapy is rooted in a client feeling safe within space. I strive to create a safe space for all marginalized communities to feel supported within the therapy room.
