About My Clients
My ideal client is someone who is motivated, curious and committed to the therapeutic process. So much of the work in therapy is what happens in the therapist/client relationship. I welcome honesty and vulnerability so we can best get to the core of what may be holding someone back from feeling happy, fulfilled and loved. I work with couples and individuals to address trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress and relationship challenges.
My Background and Approach
Trained in EMDR to work with trauma and the Gottman Method for couples, I work collaboratively with clients to identify and work towards their goals. I bring attachment, narrative and mindfulness into our sessions to best fit client's needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Humans crave connection and closeness. Relationships are an integral part of a person's happiness. Through learning more about how we show up for ourself, family, friends, loved ones and others, we can gain valuable insight into how we relate to others, patterns and what wounds may need healing. Therapy provides an opportunity to dive deeper to uncover what may be holding a person back from living the life they truly desire. Through exploring unprocessed traumas, fears, anxiety, depression and stressors we can create a path to heal from past wounds and strive for more fulfillment physically, emotionally and spiritually in the safety of the therapeutic relationship.
